It's all about love: doing what I love while raising those I love and teaching them to share the love.
About Me
Mindy
My life consists of doing dishes, folding laundry, giving baths, picking up toys, changing diapers, cleaning house, grocery shopping, carpooling, making meals, playing referee, wiping faces and hands, twisting oreos, peeling oranges, reading stories, building forts, finding the oh-so-needed lego piece, playing made up games, kissing ouchies, wiping tears, taking naps, and giving everyone multiple types of goodnight hugs and kisses
Firefighter/Paramedic, loves fishing, hunting, backpacking, and anything outdoors. Totally has a green thumb and is a way better cook than me (because he actually likes it.) He has recently taken to making homemade bread weekly. He also loves playing in the stock market, or day trading, or whatever you call it. Oh, and I love him!
Corbin Matthew - age 6
loves reading! swimming, legos, playing with friends, and first grade! says he likes hard work, is a great singer, helpful with his brothers and definitely the peacemaker of the family, loves to go see plays with his mom :)
Cody Lee - age 3
loves to play games on the computer, play with his friends, and cannot play outside without getting wet and muddy, makes us laugh constantly with his stories and his perception of the world, likes looking at maps or anything that could be a map, wants to do all the things his big brother does
Colton Doyle - 15 months
is totally attached to his binky, loves going outside, wrestling with Dad and brothers, attempts to get a horsey ride from anyone who appears to be in position - including babies crawling around on the floor, laughs when playing hide and seek or playing "I'll throw it down and you pick it up over and over", doesn't really say any comprehensible words, but talks all the time
"We have a responsibility to expose ourselves to our world, to see our common humanity, to learn about other people -- not only in times of war, but in times of peace." -Ishmeal Beah
"Throughout history, the Lord has measured societies and individuals by how well they cared for the poor. . . . we might ask ourselves, living as many of us do in societies that worship possessions and pleasures, whether we are remaining aloof from covetousness and the lust to acquire more and more of this world's goods." - D. Todd Christofferson
