Cooking Confessions

  • Brownies are my absolute favorite dessert (as long as there are no nuts), but I am sad to admit that I just recently made brownies from scratch for the first time in my adult life.
  • I make a killer alfredo sauce, but cannot ever seem to get it right without sneaking in a little corn starch.
  • I cook lots of things in the microwave. (love those Tupperware cookers)
  • I would rather eat cookie dough than the actual cookie.
  • When my husband is gone, which is quite often, I have been known to serve spaghettios or Easy Mac for dinner.
  • I never really learned to cook, because my mom always kicked us out of the kitchen - and now I find myself doing the same thing to my kids.
  • I am a recipe girl - almost everything I make, almost every time, to a T.
  • I can't make a decent fried egg to save my life.
  • I bake treats late at night just for myself.
  • Sometimes I lick the spoon and put it back in the brownie batter.
  • Writing this post is making me hungry.

I love the outfits on the kids, so cute! And, today's preschool was amazing! George was playing around with something today talking about being a fireman and helping Cody's dad.

This is the best post! It feels so good to see that all of these "perfect" women around me have some flaws... lol... We need to have a girls movie night and eat cookie dough ;)

I love their aprons - where on earth did they get those? Oh, that's right! From me! :) and their cute pajamas too! :)

I love your confessions...and I must admit that I have to confess to a few of those as well. I made heart-shaped chocolate cupcakes today and purposely left enough batter for several big spoonfuls in the bottom of the bowl. YUM-O!

Remind me to NEVER let you bring me brownies (in case the spoon made it back in the batter). LOL!
