Friday night started with homemade heart-shaped pizzas (and can I just say I am really not good at working with pizza dough. It drives me crazy! But the boys didn't care, they thought it was great fun. And it was actually pretty yummy!)

Eat your heart out

A little on love
Corbin: "Mom, all the kisses that I have given you since I was born til now, til I was five, that's how much I love you."
Corbin:"Is Pluto the farthest planet?"
Me: "pretty much"
"Well, that's how much I love you, to Pluto . . . and back." (with a little smarty smirk)
Corbin: "I love you so much, I just, I just don't know how to explain it."
Putting Cody down for nap:
"Mommy." pause. "I love you." pause. "And I love brother's legos."

Last minute Valentine idea
Cute, eh? Just in case you are still searching for something fun and creative, this is what we did last year. You can also say "You melt my heart".Friday, February 6, 2009
Circus Circus Circus!
What's the circus without cotton candy!
The white tiger
The poodle lady with her pink and blue poodles that jump through hoops
This one is hard to see, but Corbin said it was his favorite. It's a guy who stacks these chairs on top of each other one at a time and then he did a handstand on the top
This spinning circle thing where he goes faster and faster and becomes sort of weightless inside.
Acrobat girl who at one point was spinning really fast by her neck.
At intermission, we opted for the face painting instead of the $10 pictures with the poodles or the $12 elephant rides.
a guy balancing a sword with fire on top on a knife sticking out of his mouth, all while climbing up a ladder. Very tricky.
You probably can't tell what this is unless you've seen it. It's two motorcylces zooming around in the metal cage thing. At one point they had three in there. This was one of the boys' favorites too.
Of course you have to have elephants at the circus. This was the big trick where one crawls under the other. I thought the elephants were cute, except when it pooped.
Our self portrait - not too bad.
