Circus Circus Circus!

Yes, the boys and I ventured out again for another mommy/sons adventure. Luckily this time it was sans Colton. I think he may have been a little frightened anyway by the dark, the yelling and the, should I say, interesting performers. Corbin and Cody had a great time though. Not quite as many cool animal things as we had hoped for and Corbin did notice that there were no clowns (although there were some very interestingly dressed characters doing things that I think were supposed to be clown-like comedy...), but all in all it was super fun and not too expensive - my type of outing!

What's the circus without cotton candy!

The white tiger

The poodle lady with her pink and blue poodles that jump through hoops

This one is hard to see, but Corbin said it was his favorite. It's a guy who stacks these chairs on top of each other one at a time and then he did a handstand on the top

This spinning circle thing where he goes faster and faster and becomes sort of weightless inside.

Acrobat girl who at one point was spinning really fast by her neck.

At intermission, we opted for the face painting instead of the $10 pictures with the poodles or the $12 elephant rides.

a guy balancing a sword with fire on top on a knife sticking out of his mouth, all while climbing up a ladder. Very tricky.

You probably can't tell what this is unless you've seen it. It's two motorcylces zooming around in the metal cage thing. At one point they had three in there. This was one of the boys' favorites too.

Of course you have to have elephants at the circus. This was the big trick where one crawls under the other. I thought the elephants were cute, except when it pooped.

Our self portrait - not too bad.

So cute. You are such a fun mom! They did really good. I think the circus can be scary sometimes.

How fun! I always loved the circus, but for some reason now it gives me the creeps...isn't it usually the other way around?
